Dear Cheryl,

A huge thank you for taking such excellent care of Willow last week. After being let down by the Rila crèche at the last minute, you completely came to our rescue and provided us with such a brilliant service, great care and communication and a real home from home environment for Willow with a nurturing, playful and fun setting. 

We haven’t left Willow in a crèche or kids club when we’ve been away before so we were a little apprehensive about it but you immediately set our minds at ease and your regular communication and the photos you shared with us were a great reassurance. Above all, Willow was knocking your door down every morning and so keen to get back to you which speaks for itself! 

Thank you again for everything - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services to anyone and wish you all the best. If we come back to Borovets again, you’ll be our first port of call.

For childcare for my two year old I booked in with Cheryl of Ski Scamps. She’s an English speaking nanny, highly qualified and absolutely amazing. She met my daughter and I before our first session and made me feel so at ease. Whilst my little girl was there she had the best time and Cheryl always sent me pics and videos. When we come back I’ll definitely be booking in with Cheryl again.

Thank you so much Cheryl at Ski Skamps for your outstanding Nanny service in Borovets.  

She was smiley, kind, bubbly and extremely easy to talk to . She was so quick at responding to emails and so much help with what to expect when coming to Borovets with a 1 year old before we arrived . She even went to the extent of letting us burrow her pram for the week as we didn't have one that would be suitable for the snow. 

We were sent lots of lovely photos throughout the day as well as exactly what they had been up to (even down to the details of nappy changes , naps and what she ate that day). 

Lola's days were full of new and exciting things for her to see and explore. Lots of time outside on lovely walks as well as inside time to run around and play with all the amazing toys Cheryl has. 

She made us feel at complete ease leaving lola with her and was extremely flexible. She met us on occasions so we could have lunch with lola and spend some time with her, then took her off exploring again so we could ski.

Being a new mum I was very nervous about this holiday. But once we arrived and met with Cheryl we felt so much more relaxed. It was an added bonus that Cheryl is English and was previously a paramedic. We felt our child was definitely in safe hands!

We are definitely coming back again next year! And would highly recommend Ski Scamps Nanny service.

Hello I just wanted to take the time to review Cheryl at Ski Skamps for her outstanding Nanny service in Borovets. 

She made us feel at complete ease leaving our 20 month old in her care. We went to meet with Cheryl the day before childcare started and Esme didn't want to leave. 

The nursery room truly is like a home from home with a huge collection of toys and crafts to suit all ages of children. Cheryl's Mum was over to stay with them whilst we were on holiday and she was just as lovely reading Esme stories and taking her to a quiet place whilst she was sleeping in the pram and the other family were playing so as not to wake her.

Cheryl and her Mum even took Esme out for lunch (even when she pinched all their soups 🙈) 

To add Cheryl is also a retired paramedic something we didn't know until we met in resort which is another bonus for your peace of mind knowing your child is definitely in safe hands!

Thank you again Cheryl for a 5* experience and we'll definitely be back 💕 Bridie, Alex and Esme xxx

Cheryl what can I say, you are the most kind, loving and wonderful person anyone could wish for looking after their children. 

I hadn’t left my two year old before and I was full of anxiety but Cheryl made me feel so much better. She met us before my daughters first session to say hello and show us her room and her messages throughout the day of photos and videos reassuring me G was happy was amazing.

You are so incredible with children, a real life Nanny angel and I shall come to you again to have G when we come back to borovets.

Just a little message to say how lovely it was to meet you and your mum recently on our first ski holiday.
We were so grateful that we had booked your childcare services for Rosie prior to our holiday, honestly it was just a lovely experience for her and she just settled so quickly and seamlessly with you, a naturally compassionate and warm childminder.
It was amazing for us adults to feel content knowing she was safe and happy in your care whilst we skied.
From initial contact you’ve been so informative & interested in Rosie’s routine and interests, always wanting to make things easier for us with pickups and drop offs, keeping us updated with photos and buying milk etc.
You’ve such a a genuine care for children having fun and being well looked after and we wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for her.
The set up in your playroom is so cosy, warm and welcoming. Rosie really enjoyed the arts and crafts, stories and little trips out.

You’ve been absolutely incredible with P & we know he’ll be sad not to be back with you today!! You honestly made us feel so comfortable & we had no doubts at all for leaving him with you! We have had the most amazing first family skiing holiday & it’s all been possible thanks to you!

We used Cheryl at Ski Scamps  for our 20 month old a couple of weeks back. Cannot recommend her enough. Esme loved her time with Cheryl and her Mum and would 100% recommend.

My 3 year old daughter Lois has had the best time at ski scamps! I initially booked Cheryl a while ago however just before we arrived she started nursery and was really struggling with settling so I was a little optimistic if she would settle and be left whilst we were on holiday.

I met Cheryl in her play room with Lois and she instantly made all my worries go away. Lois has learnt so much this holiday which is a huge thanks to Cheryl and will be singing and dancing to elephants have wrinkles for a long time ❤️.

It's been a few weeks since we returned home from Bulgaria skiing and my 6 year old daughter is still talking about the fun her and her brother had with Cheryl! I can't speak highly enough of the service you provided for my children and others in our group. With a mix of snowy walks to the park, lots of crafts and fun they both had a fantastic time and I think the tears on the final day of saying goodbye from my daughter says it all. Thank you for your kindness, patience and giving them the most fantastic time. You were flexible with our plans and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to care for our children when we had some much needed adult time. Thank you Cheryl, you are truly amazing 🤩

I just wanted to send a message to say thank you for making our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. Ida face timed her mama today and was telling her all about you and how much fun she had painting, playing, reading and singing with you. And Ed and I were talking about how much more skiing we were able to do than we ever thought possible and all because you are so fantastic and so warm, the girls just loved being with you. A night out New Year’s Eve was the icing on the cake, we 100% would have missed the crazy fireworks if it wasn’t for you! You are an incredible person, so loving and caring and the kids loved you instantly. That’s a really special gift. We are already talking about coming back to Borovets in Feb 2021 so we will definitely be back in touch. Dear Cheryl

Thanks to Cheryl, we had the most relaxing holiday of our lives as parents. Cheryl sorted out practical details such as ski lessons, hats/gloves/scarves and snacks. She also gauged quickly what our boys (and 5 and ) like so had plenty of toys and activities up her sleeve which they would enjoy. This meant that neither boy minded our leaving. The boys had a wonderful week - sledging, pony rides, swimming as well as loads of hot chocolate. Cheryl taught the elder one much more Bulgarian than I managed during our stay. It was really nice that they were together whereas in a club, they would have been in separate age groups  We enjoyed having time to ourselves but could join Cheryl and the boys when we wanted. Each evening Cheryl sent photos of the day's adventures at which we all loved looking over dinner. When we got back, the baby complained about Cheryl not being there any more and I sympathized!

Cheryl looked after our boys aged 4 and 7 on New Years Eve 2019. She was fabulous with the boys - they took part in arts and craft activities that she provided, as well as fun games and interactions. She provided snacks and settled them to sleep very easily. They were very happy to be left in her company and we were so comfortable and confident leaving them in her care. She was punctual, efficient and her years of experience in childcare were evident. We would definitely recommend her and would seek her out if visiting Borovets.

"We were two families with 2 children each. Cheryl took care of the 4 children during our stay in Borovets. It was just perfect! She managed to occupy and frame the 4, aged from 4 years old to 21 months, which is not easy at all. She well prepared these days in advance, asking for what they like to do, what are their favorite toys and games. She brought different toys and activities in order to spend a good day with the kids. When the 3 older had a ski lesson, she spend time with the little one, doing sledging and seeing animals. She is really adorable with the kids. The kids enjoyed staying with her while we, the adults, enjoyed the slopes. For sure, if we go again to Borovets, we will definitely call her again. Again, Cheryl thank you very much for these moments and stays how you are. Thank you."

"As a teacher with a background in child protection and safeguarding I am incredibly picky as to who I will leave my children with. When I first contacted Cheryl I was really impressed with how she answered all my many questions and sent through Ofsted reports, certificates etc. Closer to the time of our arrival, we spoke again with Cheryl asking all about my girls; a one year old and two year old. Making sure she knew all about their routines, interests and asking about medical conditions, allergies etc. All of this made me feel a lot calmer about leaving the girls and when we did finally meet all of my fears were gone. Cheryl's calm manner put me instantly at ease and I could tell my girls were happy and settled. Cheryl arrived at our apartment with a suitcase of exciting activities that matched the interests I had told her about previously. It was really lovely to leave them and know they were safe and happy. Upon our return there were two pages of notes waiting for us detailing exactly what they had been doing all morning. Cheryl also babysat for the girls one night and again arrived five minutes before the session was due to start with her suitcase of tricks. My girls were already in bed but I know without a doubt Cheryl would have been able to put them to bed had this not been the case. If Cheryl had been available for more of our stay I would absolutely have booked her and as a regular visitor to Borovets I will definitely be booking her again. It's so lovely to have someone based in Borovets that I would 100% trust with my children. Thank you so much!"

"We took our two boys, aged 5 and 2, to Bulgaria recently for our first family ski trip and booked Cheryl for 3 days of childcare.  When we first made contact she came across as being really helpful and kind and caring, and that was exactly what she was like when we met her.  She remained completely professional and helpful from start to finish.  She responded promptly to our e-mails.  She was able to advise us on nice places to eat, and even booked a table at a lovely restaurant and a taxi for us one night when we went out for a meal and she came over to babysit for us.  She was really flexible; some days she looked after after both boys, and other days were split so we could take our 5 year old skiing. Our sons took to her straight away, which is a real compliment given how shy our youngest son can be.  They had plenty of opportunity to play in the snow, including sledging, and going on the gondola, and Cheryl balanced this with some relaxing time playing with toys, drawing pictures, reading books.  Overall she made our family holiday - our first time in Bulgaria - much more enjoyable and we'd highly recommend her."

"Having such a brilliant time out in Borovets. Couldn't recommend Ski Scamps - Cheryl Dummer highly enough. The girls had an absolutely brilliant morning and were very excited with Cheryl's 'Mary Poppins' bag along with the many activities she had planned for them. I was completely happy leaving the girls in her very capable hands. It was lovely coming home to two very happy and excited children. Also, if you are looking for someone to teach your little ones to ski then John Dummer is your man. So incredibly patient with my two year old who was a little reluctant at first but really enjoyed herself by the end and created some brilliant memories. It has certainly made our ski holiday with a 1 year old and a 2 year old much easier!"
